Is it worth it?

I’m really thinking about going to a private ultrasound place just because I want to see my baby before 20 weeks. I’ll be 15 weeks Sunday so that really means I only need to wait 5 weeks until I get my next ultrasound. I just want to see my baby and double make sure she’s a girl. I got genetic testing to find out the gender. It’s a $109 to do the ultrasound.

The sonography program at our local college does sonograms for 20$. It's a student and the professor supervises if you just wanna see your baby it's definitely worth it because they use it as a learning experience so they take their time

I’m doing an elective one further along to get a heartbeat bear. I have one for my daughter and I’d love one for this baby too. 
$109 seems expensive though? I only pay $75 for a 15 min scan and a bear. Try looking in your area and compare prices if there’s more than one place.

I did it with my first and am scheduled to go with this one at 15 weeks! Can’t wait!

I’m going at 15 weeks to find out our gender 😊 We didn’t do the blood test as it wasn’t covered though. If you can afford it, I don’t see the harm in going!
