How long did you wait to try for baby #2?

My first baby is only 5 months old and I’m dying to have another already! Am I crazy?!

I was ready to have another right away....but haven't gotten pregnant yet. My son is two.

Our son will be 3.5 when our second is born. I’m so happy we waited. No one told me how hard the toddler stage is. I found 1.5 years and younger super easy (he was an easy baby anyways). But 1.5 plus is so stressful lol. Now he’s potty trained, and will be starting preschool and I feel it will be easier to introduce a new baby. He is so excited to be a big brother and is really able to help. Everyone is different, me and my sisters were close in age but we didn’t get along for the teenage years but are close now.

Mine is 8 months and I am ready, but my husband is not. I want another so bad!

I got pregnant 7 months after I had my son.  My advice would be to wait until after a year but it’s your choice.  It’s so exhausting, the pregnancy fatigue plus taking care of a baby.  It’s also more painful in general since the body isn’t fully healed, and there’s a higher risk of bad medical stuff happening.
