Bleeding while Pregnant

How common is spotting or bleeding during pregnancy? I’m about 7 weeks & I’ve had some bleeding. It’s usually when I wipe and has only happened one time. It’s not bright red, or clotty. Then it turns to that brown, old blood color. It worries me only because I’ve had a miscarriage last year.. so idk if it’s a sign that it’s going to happen again. My last miscarriage, I didn’t have spotting, it was more a lot of bleeding and clotting at one time, followed by extreme cramping. So idk, just wondering how common it is & if I should be worried?
