Ingrown toe nail

My son is 3 weeks old and today I noticed his toenail is ingrown. I’m calling his dr tomorrow and gonna see about an appointment and we soaked his little foot in a little epsom salt. My question is does it seem infected?? I’ve never had an ingrown nail or anything so I’m not sure. He wasn’t bothered when me and his dad were messing with it either
