Is 25 weeks too early for a shower? Also is it not okay to have another shower? This is my second child.

Is 25 weeks too early for a shower? Mine will be in May bc my sisters are having theirs in April and June. So I kinda have to do May. I’m due in August. I don’t want to wait until July because doctors think baby will come early. And my first came early. Also I was told by someone your only supposed to get one shower per lifetime, not one shower per kid. Any thoughts?

I don’t care what anyone fucking says I’m having a shower this is my 3rd baby and my son was born over 7 years ago I don’t have no baby things anymore I basically gave everything away . I’m going to celebrate my new baby ! I don’t care if people like it or not . If they want to come good and if they don’t want to come cool . Go ahead and celebrate the new life. I think 25 weeks is a little early but completely up to you . .

I personally wouldn’t mind two if I had two babies of opposite gender ex a boy first baby and girl second baby. I think older generations are more against more than one baby shower. My aunt complained about my sister law having baby showers with each of her kids.

We do more of a “sprinkle” for babies after the first one unless there is a big age gap. I had my shower at 29 weeks so it all depends on your situation.

Do it whenever you want. And how ever many you won’t. Every child I have will be celebrated 👏🏻 in my family, baby showers are just a reason to eat bomb ass Mexican food and dance lol
