Bp is up suddenly?

Question

Back aches and my whole bump is hard with pressure.
I took my blood pressure and its higher than usual 146/82
Waiting in the on call nurse to call me back.
Super uncomfortable right now.

Same happened to me last night. I was in bed and my feet were sore. I realized they were swollen....then realized my hands were as well. Took my BP and it was 134/94. Decided to use a home remedy; garlic, vinegar and water (about a shot glass full) and sat down with my feet elevated for an hour. I was back to normal when I checked it an hour later. Mentioned it to my doctor today, she wasn’t concerned since it just happened the one time.

Mine was slightly elevated on Monday during Dr appt. she sent me to the hospital to get monitored. Luckily it went down while at the hospital but I was asked to check regularly. Dr told me if it’s above 140/90 call her ASAP. Hope you hear from L&D soon
