To early?

I’m 20 weeks. I’ve bought a few baby clothes and a changing table. I want to buy more. Is it to early? I have my gender party tomorrow. I’m so excited! I just want everything ready. I want to be prepared. My fiancé says its to early. Is it?

Why would it be too early to start getting baby stuff? Your pregnancy is halfway over. But what you want!

With my first we had nursery add on to the house around 18 weeks was built by 20 weeks. We painted it yellow because either girl or boy I wanted yellow themed. We had cloths and other baby stuff like bathtub, blankets, swing. I’m 19 weeks and we known for a couple weeks it’s a girl. I have bought tons of cloths already, started rearranging our room for bassinet and baby stuff to go in our room. I don’t feel it’s to early at all. My son came at 36 weeks, so it makes me wanna get stuff done and ready now because baby girl could be hear in 17 weeks or so.

No way! I’ve seen some women who are DONE with getting baby stuff and the room is ready to go already lol I think it’s too early to be done but not to get things rolling lol I’m waiting until after my baby showers to be able to see what we’re still missing. However, we have a changing table and dresser now...along with a chunk of clothing and bottles 👍🏻

It’s definitely not too early. Also preparing now means that financially you can spread it out over a longer period of time so it’s not all coming out of your pocket at the end of your pregnancy.

Definitely not too early, everyone is different though so do what makes you happy! I know people that were done my 20 weeks, yet I didn’t start buying until 29 weeks with my first, and am only looking so far this time x

19 weeks with #2 now. With my first I started buying things this early I wouldn't mind having used... That way I could look for deals and wait if it was too used. Things like diaper Paul, bouncy seat, bath tub etc. It's also nice to wait a little while if there's already plans to have a shower. That way you don't have to return a bunch of stuff! But big items that you don't expect to recieve as gifts I liked buying over several months to spread the costs out. Hope you find some goodies that bring you joy!
