Hitting phase?

Anyone's April baby in a hitting phase? She only does it to me, will slap me right across the face. I try not to take it personally but damn child, love you too 🙄

Mine isn’t doing that but trying to teeth on us.... like he literally goes in for any body part to chew on... the other day I thought he was using me to stand and he leaned in and bit my boob (through my shirt... didn’t have a bra on) and actually broke the skin I was bleeding... ughhh it hurt so bad! At this point I’d rather he hit us lol

Yes, he does it when I’m putting him to sleep. Will slap my glasses off of my face. I just grab his hand and say no.

Mine does that! So I do with her what I do with my toddlers. I gently grab the hand and rub on whatever they were hitting and say “gentle hands”.

My daughter hits repetitively when she’s happy and excited, usually it’s gentle enough but sometimes she’s a bit harder than I’d like! When she does that, I pretend to cry. She understands that and stops. Then I reassure her I’m ok. A few times of that and she’s learnt mummy cries if I do that, and she’s pretty much stopped.
