So today was a little rough.. we ended up with our first trip to the ER. For something that’s so common with the little ones. Nursemaids Elbow. It’s when the alignment in the elbow becomes displaced. We were walking through the parking lot holding both her hands and we were swinging.. lots of people do it I did it when I was a kid I loved it.. then I heard a pop and tons of screaming. Her arm pretty much went limp. She could move her hand but not her arm. It was scary. So we ended up at the ER. The doctors were amazing. They just took her arm and put it right back in place. It was immediate relief and our baby girl was perfectly fine.

So I just wanted to remind everyone that picking their kids up by there arms and swinging them by hands increases their risk for this. I never thought that would happen to us but it did. And now we are going to be more prone to it.

I just wanted to share our story and pray that no one else has to go through this.
