Worth the fight!

My son at two weeks old spiked a fever and got admitted to the PICU 2 hours from home with viral meningitis. Then at 4 weeks old he caught RSV and ended up back in the PICU due to severe respiratory distress.

I know formula is perfectly fine but breast milk is better. Look at the difference between when he was in the hospital vs a few months later when he was healthy!

I have fought like hell to keep breast feeding him. He has been so sick and I want to do everything in my power to help him. I have fought through mastitis, thrush, infected teeth wounds, going back to work, and supply drop. I was in tears pumping almost straight blood for several weeks just trying desperately to keep my supply up through much of these issues. I have over come so many hurdles and I’m beyond proud of myself! My son is now 4.5 months and finally healthy!
