Pregnant and New Moms who have babies with Down Syndrome.

Maria

Hi Mamas! I just wanted to share my experience as a fairly young mom of two. I was 24 when I had my first born, a handsome baby boy, and then 3 years and 1 week later I had my second baby, a beautiful baby girl. I am/was 27 when I had my daughter and we found out at birth that she has Down Syndrome. We were scared, worried, and cried A LOT, but here we are 6 months later and couldn't be any more thankful for our blessing!

I wanted to post something to let other moms (pregnant or new mommies) who are having babies with down syndrome that everything will be alright! Your feelings are real and valid but please know the sadness will go away and you'll see the beauty in absolutely everything! My baby girl brings so much joy to our lives and anyone else who meets her.

Please, if anyone needs a friend to talk to or just wants to make a new mommy friend and wants to learn more about down syndrome, please reach out to me! ❤❤
