Let all that dry on its own, and when it’s all dry then give them a bath and from then on out clean it with a wet rag or wipe or whatever but let that dry out first

Ours said to leave it alone and just keep it dry. About 10 days after ours fell off it still looked open to me and not healing properly so I took her to the dr and he swabbed it with some stuff and it healed in a few days.
