I made a post a couple of months ago about being the weak girl. I stayed in an emotionally abusive/ turning physically abusive relationship. I prayed so hard to have a sign. Well I found him at a bar tonight with another women. Packed all his shit and put it on the front porch. Now my question is...do I need to contact a lawyer? My son is 6 months old. His father has no job. Has not paid for one thing for him. Drinks all day and night. Doesn’t have custody of his other son. But he threatens to use things against me and take my son away. Should I talk to a lawyer or is he all talk and I should just wait and see if he does anything?

***Edit: it is not his house. He hasn’t had a job for a long long time.
