What’s your bedtime routine?

With your LO?. my husband pointed out to be today that every night our son falls asleep while nursing, and that’s how I put him to bed.. it’s my go to to get him to sleep but I’m guessing that’s a bad habit?? FTM so not entirely sure. He’ll fall asleep if I rock him but he won’t STAY asleep like he does when he’s nursing..

What time? 
For me we usually are in jammies, in our room with his noise machine/ nightlight on and I’ll nurse him until he’s asleep, then put to bed.. this is usually around 10-10:45

7pm bath, then story time. Put sleepsack on, turn on white noise and nightlight. Breastfeed and asleep by 8pm. She almost always wakes up an hour later so I give her 4 oz formula to help her sleep longer. She usually wakes up 2 more times before 6:30am. 
I hear feeding to sleep is a bad habit but I’ve gotten to the point where I say oh well! We do the best we can as their mommies; and I enjoy that bonding time so much. 😊

We just moved our bedtime up from your time 10-1045 to 8 and it has been amazing. 730 we do bath if it’s bathnight cream( he has eczema) In room by 8 with noise machin. I do pretty much nurse to sleep but I burp which wakes him up usually and then I pat him back to sleep wether it’s in his bed or walking around depends on the night. But he has gone from bed at 10 nurse at 12 ,2,4,6. To bed at 830 nurse at 1130, 0430, 7.

There isn’t a set time, but when I can tell she will have her last bottle I feed her, then dim the living room lights (sometimes bath) lotion diaper Jammie’s, little bit of cuddle time and then sound machine in the bedroom and lay her in her playpen awake. From what I’ve read it’s a good habit to lay them down awake and have them put themselves to sleep, will be easier for them to self soothe later on

Play time, bath every other day, then lotion no matter bath or not, pajamas, lights out and bottle in rocking recliner in his room.  He basically falls asleep in my arms during burping, then its into the crib he goes.  Hes asleep between 8-9, sometimes 7:30.  I just read his cues for when to start doing all steps.  Hes been sleeping atleast 6.5 hour stretches with majority of the time 8+hours

Baby girl goes to bed when she is tired and wants to. This usually happens between 800-900pm. She will fall asleep after her bottle and I simply put her in the bassinet. We typically wake up once in the middle of the night but getting closer to sleeping through the night.

We feed him around 6-7, he plays a bit, around 8pm he is usually tired. We just put him in his crib when he gets tired (always between 8-9pm). And he sleeps a few minutes after that. We use white noise and rub his head a bit, and then leave the room. He sometimes talks to himself for a few minutes and turns around in his bed (he ends up 90 degrees in his crib usually, sometimes 180 😄).

for us the time varies , its bath, pjs, and jammies , story time and a bottle between 7-8 , then we sing and dance until she's almost asleep then lay her down between 8-9 . she sleeps through so I wake her up at 4 for a diaper change and a bottle then back to sleep until 730-8 . this has been our routine since 1 month and has been working great for us :)

We change into jammies, and then o nurse.him. sometimes he is out after nursing. Other times he is drowsy when I put him down. Either way I don't mind nursing him right before bed. My first nursed before bed until he was 18 months. We added brushing his teeth after nursing when he got teeth at 7 months. He is a great sleeper, and started sleeping continuously at 1 year though the night. My 4 month old wakes up once at 4am then back to sleep until 7am when he wakes up for the day.

We don’t have a set time. We typically bath, lotion and massage, read a story, swaddle, play white noise with a few lullabies, offer soothie/pacifier (although the past few weeks he’s been needing me to nurse him to sleep), and set him in his crib next to us to fall asleep. 
I also worry that if I am nursing him to sleep that this will become a bad sleep habit. We have been following some of the recommendations from Happiest Baby Guide to Sleep which states that this is biologically very normal for infants. They recommend the wake and sleep technique so we have been doing that after he nurses to fall asleep.

I mostly breastfeed but at night I do a formula bottle because it’s heavier and fills him up better.  I give the bottle, then we go upstairs, put on jammies and a sleep sack, lay in bed and giggle for a while with the lights really low, then I put him in his bassinet with white noise.  He’s usually asleep within a few minutes.
