My son had a terrible tongue and lip tie at birth, 11 days ago, and was clipped on day 2 and laser released on day 5.

He’s never taken the breast without a shield, but now only stays latched for a minute or two before pulling off or falling asleep. I know there is milk as I see it in the shield so I have no idea what else to do.

I’m working with two lactation consultants and am pumping every 3 hours to keep up my milk. Anyone have these troubles? Baby refusing the breast?
