Too early to set up bassinet?

I’m 28 weeks with twin girls and my boyfriend thinks it’s too early to take stuff out of the boxes. He believe it will “collect dust”. Is he over reacting or should i just wait.

You are far enough along. I had everything set up the day after my baby shower (24 weeks). You never know when you will have them should they be early or not and by the time you hit 30 weeks you will be too tired to most likely. Just tell him you’re nesting and to mind his own business lol

A lot of us here had our twins between 30 and 35 weeks, so I'd say get it all set up! I had just moved to a new house and didn't even have cribs or anything yet when mine came. You'll feel so much better to get it ready!

No, do it now! Twins can come at any time so you want to be prepared as you will have no time to do these things once they arrive!

Do it! I barely set mine up last night (alone) and holy shit did it take all my energy lol 
I’m 34w4d with my twins and I have been setting up their cribs, bassinets, and I put together their double stroller last night as well. 
Believe me it was a pain! I’m surprised I haven’t gone into labor being so active lol

Once I hit 32 weeks my motivation and endurance to do almost anything tanked. I literally have to rest every 15 min while cleaning or doing anything really. I say get it done while you have the energy and drive! If you're worried about dust, throw a blanket over it!
