I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism whenever we found out we were pregnant in August. I was out on 0.25mcg of levothyroxine and I’ve been taking it every day. The last time my level was checked was in September and it was at a 5.6. Well today the doctor I saw at my appointment asked me whose been monitoring my thyroid and I’m like “uh aren’t y’all?!” And now he wants to do thyroid checks at every appointment. Baby has measure fine and every test ever done has been normal. Should I be worried that he randomly asked me this almost 7 months into the pregnancy? I never thought to ask anything about it because I was continuing to take the meds, they were refilling it when needed and every other doctor I’ve seen always just asked if I was still taking it and that’s it.😒😒
