Does an epidural make you loopy?

It's kind of like when the dentist numbs your cheek, except it's the bottom 50% of your body 😂 you dont feel any sort of cognitive effect. Just... numb. 
And its amazing. 
I didnt feel any pain pushing out my baby. Absolutely none!

I've had 4 epidurals and never felt loopy, not even a little bit

It doesn’t affect your mental state at all. It only goes to the bottom half of your body.

I felt a little delirious, but I think it was due to being able to finally relax and rest

No, and I could move my legs slightly even. Bad shivers though, but not loopy or out of it at all. That was honestly my fear, I hate feeling loopy or out of cobtrol..but none of that with epidural

My only negative side-effect was the shakes. Cognitively I was completely normal.

If you dont want to feel loopy, avoid the stadol at all costs!
