Gas and constipation TMI

I haven’t been 💩 since Thursday before I went to be induced and it is Monday night. I had a c section on Saturday and the gas has been excruciating. While in the hospital the nurses gave me lots of gas-x and percocet. I’m told the Percocet is what makes you constipated. So I came home this afternoon and had my husband get me some miralax but it says it takes 1 to 3 days to produce a bowel movement. Any advice on how to get things going?? Did miralax work for you and how long? What else can I do about the gas. The walking is killing me and I’m afraid to prolong my recovery.
