Is it possible to have a second set of wisdom teeth?

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed before they even started coming through,  when I was in high school (about 5-6 years ago) but it feels like they might be starting to come through on the bottom.
Is it possible to have another set?

That should have showed up on pre removal x rays for your wisdom teeth i that is that case.

Yes... Several years ago I was told I'd had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and then recently I had really bad toothache and was told I needed to have it removed. When it came to removing it my dentist said it was a wisdom tooth and that it had more roots than it should. I quizzed him because I knew for a fact I'd already had my wisdom teeth out and he said it's uncommon but not impossible to have more than one set of wisdom teeth

Yeah, my mum had her top ones taken out when she was a kid and then again a few year ago

My sister had 8 so yes it's possible. She had to get all 8 removed

No but it sounds like what I had after my wisdom teeth were removed. I still had a tooth! So I went into the oral surgeons and they easily got it out.
