My husband and I are currently (and hesitantly) expecting our first. I’m 10 + 1day and had my first appointment yesterday. During the ultrasound the doctor said she can’t find a gestational sac. I asked if that meant I was never pregnant and she told me that I most certainly am pregnant but there are a lot of blood clots in my uterus which are blocking any view of the sac. I passed one blood clot today for the first time about an inch long. This last week or so I’ve had light but pretty consistent brown discharge. A regular panty liner has been enough to do the trick. Doc said she’s concerned I’m miscarrying but is not sure so she ordered blood work (I’ll get it taken again Wednesday to see if my HCG levels go up or not). I know this is the miscarriage group but does anyone have any experience with something like this and it NOT be a miscarriage? The waiting is just killing me.
