At 4 months was your baby laughing out loud?

My little girl is 18 weeks today (born 3 weeks early) and she has only barely laughed a couple of times. 😢 Such a tease! We are beginning to think she is holding out on purpose! 🤣 Everything else seems to be developing on schedule or ahead.

My LO laughed really hard one night a few weeks ago and then we couldn’t get her to do it again but just this morning she smacked me in the face and started cracking up 🤣 .. they just need to think it’s really funny I guess

I remember my daughter seemed like it took forever for her to laugh. She was super smiley but she obviously didn’t think we were funny enough to laugh. She’s 5 now and still doesn’t like “jokers” as she puts it 🤣 she’s pretty hilarious herself though.

Hey! I wouldn’t sweat it at all momma! My son will be 20 was (5 MO) tomorrow and honestly it’s been just shy of a week and he’s laughed quite a few finds. But honestly it happened like overnight. No laughing then quite a few laughs all of the sudden! Every LO develops at their own rate don’t worry your babe sounds right on schedule!

My mom told me it was always like pulling teeth to get me to laugh. I never laughed as a baby. I'm complete opposite now and am always laughing.

My son is 18 weeks and still no laugh. I heard him laugh in his sleep twice and it melted my heart but apparently his dreams are funnier than we are! He smiles all the time and sometimes smiles with an inhale that sounds like the start of a laugh but then nothing. The anticipation is killing me! 😆
