Ok so I’ve always had ovarian cysts ever since I was in middle school right after the start of my period. At age 16 I had to have a cyst removed from my Fallopian tube that was hanging off if it like a Christmas ornament. They removed it with no damage to my tube at all and tested it and some other surrounding tissue for endometriosis and it was negative. We decided to start ttc baby #2 in April and sadly we’ve lost 4 so far 2 chemical pregnancy, one blighted ovum and one mc cause of a blood clot. So I’ve been seeing my ob a lot trying to see what’s wrong since now we haven’t conceived at all since our last loss in September. I went in for pain in my abdomen, my ob found a small cyst on my right ovary which is normal for me and then he stuck his hand up in me and said he was lifting my uterus. I screamed in pain and he said that meant I have endometriosis? I’ve done some research on it and it makes no sense I have text book cycles every single month it’s 28 days exactly. I get my period then 14 days later I ovulate then 14 days after that my next period comes. I don’t have painful periods at all and they’re not heavy at all I just have one day to where it’s medium flow then the next 2 days it’s light bleeding and then I spot one day and it’s done. My ob said if you have bad pain before getting your period and then the pains relieved when your period comes its endometriosis which made no sense because I’ve always heard endometriosis causes a painful period and then the pain stops after your period. So it sounds like he doesn’t even really know about endometriosis. The bad thing is he told me he’s giving us 2 months to ttc and then if we don’t he’s doing surgery on me to look for endometriosis and remove it and I’m horrified he doesn’t even sound like he knows about it and he’s talking about surgery! Please if any of you have endometriosis tell me about your symptoms. Also if by some weird chance I do have it is it hard to conceive with endometriosis?
