I have medi-cal due to the fact that I am an 18F college student. I was told by my physician that she was going to assign me to an OBGYN, but this was two weeks ago (Dr said it would be 5 days) and i haven’t heard anything from her, my insurance, or the OBGYN.

I’m assigned to a local health clinic through my insurance, so I think I could go to an OBGYN if I wanted to, but I’m honestly sick of waiting. I’ve been trying to get an appt through my physician since I started seeing her in December, to no avail. She won’t prescribe me birth control because she wants me to see an OBGYN because of my migraines.

Is planned parenthood likely my best bet?? What kind of experienced do you guys have with them??

I don’t have any parents or older friends to ask about this kind of thing and am hoping for some guidance.
