Anyone taking progesterone?

I have questions?!!!
Did you have to stop taking it to get a period? 
Dr put me on it because my progesterone was low on cd21 /7dpo 
Well today is 14dpo /cd28 
And BFN
NO PERIOD
my cycles are never longer then 28days
I am cramping but not bleeding 
My doctor said it wouldn’t stop my period from coming to keep taking it. But EVERYTHING I read says it will!!

Af wont come til prog is stopped for most 
My doc said test til 14dpo.....stop if no bfp

My doctor also told me to stop taking if BFN. My period has come within a few days after stopping.

I've been taking it for 2 months now and I too would like more info on it. I've been reading different things about it. How does it really work & how is supposed to help you get pregnant?? 🤔

I was on progesterone for 5 days to jump start my period...started my period about 4 days after the last pill.
