I'm trying to decide what birth control option to choose after i have this baby. I know if i have my tubes tied, there's no going back, but if i get the Nexplanon, i can go a few years, possibly without a period. I've tried the IUD, but that was uncomfortable for my sex partner at the time, and it slipped out.

My cousin has the Nexplanon. She said she had a cycle for 3 months straight, but for the last two years, no period. That seems worth it to me, if i can function. I kinda only want 2 kids because it's hard raising one alone since my husband decided that he doesn't want to be committed to his responsibilities, but then i thought, what if we get divorced and I remarry, and my new husband wants a baby? I'll ruin that opportunity with the Tubal Ligation. Does anyone have any experience and can offer advice? And has either procedure affected your milk supply?
