6 week ultrasound?

My OBGYN wants to see me at 6 weeks because I miscarried my last pregnancy just wondering if any of you were seen at 6 weeks and if they did an US could they see a heartbeat that early?

Yes, generally it’s considered a viability/dating u/s. They will confirm location of baby and due date. You’ll see baby’s heartbeat (may or may not hear it depending on the practice-with my 1st 2 we heard it but with my current pregnancy we were told that that’s no longer recommended when it’s a transvaginal scan due to the amount of heat that the probe puts out)

6+3 but measured 6+1. midwife was able to find heartbeat, but it took her a very long, emotional three minutes to do so...

I was 6 weeks with my first and all they saw was a sac and a yolk... but they can still measure everything

I had my first ultrasound at 6 + 6 and we saw the heartbeat! Good luck!
