Measuring big...twins?

Hi ladies! So I had my first dating ultrasound at 6 wks and baby measured right on. Only one baby...today I went for my appointment and I'm 12 weeks. The doctor felt my cervix and said I felt more like 15 weeks and it could be because of twins!!! Scheduled an ultrasound for next week. Has this happened to anyone? Do you think the baby could just be big??

There’s really no way to tell multiple babies by size of your abdomen or what your cervix is doing. That sounds like bad doctoring IMO. But yay for a extra ultrasound and if you want twins then good luck! 😊

Sounds like a moron for a doctor. Abdomen / uterus size and cervix mean nothing concerning having just one or more babies.
