Am i wrong?

Hubby wants to tell his parents that we are having a boy. Alone. Just because his dad and I don't get along. Am I wrong to be upset that he wants to do this without me?

Honestly my FIL didn't like me for years but my husband refused to visit him with our children unless I went too. WE are a family, they are extended now. Thankfully we all made up before he passed away.

Honestly it’s his parents and one that doesn’t like you. Your husband is probably trying to spare your feelings and keep the drama at a minimum.
Not so funny story. My paternal grandparents hated my mom, they thought she was trash cause she grew up dirt poor and my dad came from money.
Anyways when my dad called to tell them my mom was pregnant my grandparents were basically like “welp you sol now son, you’ve made your bed now lie in it.”
My mom was never one to keep her mouth shut, but she allowed my dad to handle his family the way he wanted to, cause it was his family.

I would at least want to be present when he tells him whether he likes you or not. It’s not just his child. It’s yours too. Also, you will be the mother of his grandchild so he needs to get over his feelings.
