So I’m 16 and I live with my mom (dad isn’t in the picture anymore) and I masturbate. But I havnt told my mom? Should I? Is it nessesary? Every time I talk to my mom about it she seems grossed out at the thought of masturbating. Idk what to do. I usually tell my mom everything. If your a mom can you help me out please

I never told my mom I masturbated. I said when I first had sex but masturbation seems more private and since the only risk is utis or yeast from not being clean there is no reason for anyone to know.

I was the same way. I felt like I needed to tell my mom. But one day out of the blue (probably after something I said) she told me that she doesn’t had to know EVERYTHING. That she appreciated it but sometimes parents don’t want to know these things. Hope this helps. Don’t feel guilty for not telling her. ❤️

Why would you want your mom to know that? Im sure she also does, but do you really want her to tell you that? Unless you have questions, or are concerned about something down there, keep it to yourself.

Follow the guidelines of what is comfortable to her. She isnt comfortable talking about masturbation then don't talk about it. That's okay. But whenyou have sex or are thinking about it, defintely discuss that one because it's so important. 
My son talks to me about everything. Masturbation included. But that is how our relationship is. My parents and i did not...in fact it was forbidden to do it.
