Long story short: my husband had a phone call and he told his brother he loved him (he rarely does) and got really excited. I walked over and said “what happened?!”. He didn’t answer but when he got off the phone he said “my brothers boss offered gave him the company”. I instantly knew it was a lie and said “I know you’re lying but ok” and walked away. A few minutes later I asked why did he lie to my face & he literally exploded saying it was none of my business and I shouldn’t be listening to his phone calls etc etc. thoughts? Should I not have asked what was going on? Should I not be mad that he lied to my face? This lie makes me question everything.

How do I know that he lied? He later told me that his brothers gf is pregnant & that his brother told him not to tell me. My husband just thinks that this is a “little white lie”
