I had kind of a bad day. I'm a sahm and some days are just tougher than others. And the cabin fever feeling has hit hard. I was supposed to take Kayleigh to her dad's/my hubby's work today to visit with him and his co-workers. I always look forward to this, as everyone there just loves to see her and I was looking forward to getting out of the house for a little bit and socializing with adults. But I found out first thing this morning that my car wouldn't start 😔

Anyway! I've been trying to teach Kayleigh to clap, by clapping myself and by grabbing her hands and making her clap. I noticed today when I'd clap her hands, she started keeping them uncurled while doing it. I thought that was neat, like she was catching on. Then tonight, I was holding her and she just started doing it! All on her own, a few times in a row! 😍😍😍

It was just awesome to see. Like, hey - I taught her something!! I know it's probably not much in the grand scheme of things but it makes the daily sah difficulties easier to handle. It made my day so much better. I love that she made my day better. ♥️♥️♥️
