Magickal use for umbilical stump?

Hi! I hope this is allowed- my LO was born two weeks ago today, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a use for his umbilical stump?
I'm thinking of some sort of protection spell or ritual, but I haven't been able to find any information on something like this. 
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

i would just look for protection spells, jars, sachets, etc. in general and then put your own twist on it, including that if you want to. something you could bury in your yard, hang over their doorway to their room, or place under their bed i’ve seen most often. really, you can just make your own tho and it’d be more personal. spells available online and in books are what worked for other people according to their knowledge and associations, i almost always would advise using as guidelines or inspiration and putting your own twists, aspects, and associations!
