Nervous

So I go to my OBGYN tomorrow because my husband and I have been trying to have baby #2 for a while now and we’re having no luck. I thought I was pregnant last month,I even missed my period by a week and my periods are fairly on time. Turns out I didn’t even ovulate last month. THIS month I’m 5 days late now and I’m honestly debating on even taking a test because I don’t wanna get put down after getting my hopes up again. My doctor is wanting to put me on Metformin. Tomorrow is my consultation for it because I had blood work and I got a phone call and they want me to come in tomorrow to explain why and all that. Should I be worried? Does it help? I’m really nervous 😩
