My insurance doesn’t cover genetic testing.  It’s not necessary for me since we have no family history. I’m also not worried about finding out the gender. From what I’ve researched the quad screen does just as good at pinpointing abnormalities. That’s why insurances typically covers it. So yes I will have the quad screen but not a NIPT.

I’m 35 and will do the blood test next week. We’re passing on the NT, because of the rate of false positives.
