I live at home with my Dad when I first got pregnant my SO was spending the night like once a month and coming over every weekend. Once I hit like 5/6 months he started spending the night like every other weekend, now he stays over every weekend basically. It was a big transition that took literal baby steps to get here as my dad is not the happiest about his daughter having a baby and was kind of resentful to my SO. Now that I’m due in a few weeks I want my SO here every night. Sleeping is so uncomfortable for me right now and my SO massages me and cuddles me to help me sleep. I would hate to go into labor in the middle of the night and he miss it as he doesn’t have a car & our transit system stops running at 1AM.

S/N 1: I’m 35w 2d we live in the same city but his house is about a 15-20minute drive from mine and the hospital is 5mins from my house, he does not have a car or live with anybody that has a car

S/N 2: my dad works two jobs so I’m usually home alone, he leaves for work before I do and comes home after I’m already sleep

S/N 3: I just want to clarify that I live at home but not free. The rent food and utilities is split 50/50. So honestly in my eyes I can do w.e I want cause I pay for my way but I’m trying to be respectful
