Periods!?!

I just had a baby 6 months ago, and had my period on time every month until December and it all went wacky. I have had 4-5 periods since the end of December/ beginning of Jan. I know these aren’t actual periods, but what could be going on ?! They are super heavy and I’m clotting which isn’t normal for me. I have never had anything like this happen. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have an appointment with my OB/GYN but the earliest they could get me in was March 7th! I’ll probably have another before then..
