Any ladies here take antidepressants?

How does it make you feel? And what specific reasons may you be on it for? Just curious cause I think I might need to see a doctor for them

I’m on citalopram, it took a few different drugs to see which one worked best. I’m on it for depression. They help me to feel more level and help to think things logically, and feel more stable.

I’m on fluoxetine 20mg. I’m on them for depression, OCD, and anxiety. Mine have helped me out of my funk, and kept me level headed. My anxiety is definitely not as bad as it was, and neither is my depression. Trying to find an antidepressant that works for you can take some time. They work differently for different people, and also take some time to kick in. Mine took 4-6 weeks to work the way they’re supposed to. They didn’t change who I am as a person, I’m still the same me. Just less worried and less sad :-)
