What kind of blanket do you use?

Kids this age move so much, blankets tend to get tangled up and wake them in the night. Keep them warm with clothing and consider a small lovey/stuffed animal for comfort.

My son has been sleeping with his blanket since he was a year old. It’s his comfort object and if he gets cold he knows how to cover himself up. He refuses to wear socks so I try and cover him up with it when I put him to bed. Most of the time he’ll take it off and just snuggle with it but he also likes to wake up in the morning and wrestle with it and talk to it lol

We give him a blanket but he always kicks it off. I'm afraid he gets cold at night so I make sure to dress him warm. I just wish he knew that a blanket was there to keep him warm.

My daughter sleeps with a pillow and a toddler bed comforter. She won’t sleep anymore without it. She slept with us so long if her bed isn’t made she won’t sleep. She does awesome with it!

I allow a crochet baby blanket in with my daughter. I always keep it draped over the side so if she wants to snuggle it, it’s there, but only if she pulls it in. The type of stitching it is has holes so I’m not worried about her suffocating when she uses it as a pillow.

I was under the impression that a 1 year old could safely use blankets and a toddler pillow... am I wrong? Will they still somehow smother themselves even though they can take it off themselves? 🤷🏼‍♀️ My lo has been using a blanket and pillow since she turned 1.

Been using a blanket since she could confidently move around in the crib. We only purchase Aden & Anais blankets for our daughter since they are so breathable.

I still put him a sleep sack 😅 he’s very attached to it. I can’t even switch to a different one. Good thing it’s super big still.

My daughter sleeps with a blanket at daycare with someone in the room at all times. It’s a little mat so not much room to move. At home she sleeps in jammies, no blanket or sleep sack. I’m too nervous still to give her a blanket.
