Short back story....

I had a D&c 15th Jan following missed miscarriage at 12 weeks (baby stopped growing at 9). I’d gotten a negative pregnancy test 30th jan then positive tests from 5th feb.... last week my hcg was 25 and yesterday it was 17. Last night I started cramping really bad and spotting. Today bleeding is light but ramped up with some clots.

My question is, can you have hcg present during a period or could this be an indication of a chemical pregnancy/ very early miscarriage??
