Sex before cervical check?

Has anyone had sex the day before their cervical check and Group B check? Is it okay or an I risking testing positive for Group B?

Totally okay to have sex. Some people believe that semen actually is antibiotic properties and could kill off bacteria! So if you feel like bumping and grinding, go for it!

Sex would have nothing to do with testing positive for your group b. It’s a bacteria that is carried within your intestinal tract so regardless of having sex or not it won’t effect your results you’re either positive or you’re not.

I didnt have sex 2 days before the group strep B but for just a cervical check it doesn’t matter if you have sex before. 
And also I tested positive for the group strep still 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would say hold on doing the deed. I'm assuming the nothing in the vagina rule apply to any of type of swab or test. Like when we get the pap smear. But that's just my assumption, I could totally be wrong.
