Is saying "ope" really just a Midwest US thing?
I live in the Midwest and I just caught myself saying such a Midwest type of thing.
"I think we need to buy more vitamin c."
*looks in cabinet*
"Ope, we're all out!"
This is also something people say in the place of "oops" when you accidentally bump into someone in the store, etc. It can be used in a lot of other situations. Do other people say this in other parts of the country/world? Lol
