Multivitamin drops with fluoride?!

Our pediatrician prescribed multi vitamin drops with fluoride. It seems a bit early for fluoride?
Is this normal?

Is baby on a specific type of formula/are you eating a specific type of diet (vegan, vegetarian ect)? My only guess is they think baby is missing that because my pediatrician said my daughter is getting all the vitamins and minerals and all that from her formula
