Was it rude or am I sensitive?

My husband has a very short fuse. I usually don’t upset him, but we all get into fights. Tonight he got frustrated with me when I was trying to help him check in for his flight. He asked me to read off a number, and I read off the only number I saw. He got mad and said “you’re just like my mom when answering questions.” And for reference, his mom is really bad at answering questions. We will ask her a yes or no question and she will say “well, he called and I told him that you weren’t available today... etc, etc.” And he gets furious. And I kind of feel him on it. But I kind of got my feelings hurt tonight when he told me I’m just like his mom when answering questions...
