Why is it that MILs are so annoying? She walked up to me as soon as we got to church on Sunday, laughed at my belly, and said, “WOW! You are huge. No offense.” Seriously? I felt super cute in my outfit that day! I weigh 154...so I’m not enormous by any means. What do you want my body to look like when it’s carrying a fully formed human being?

And she loves to ask irritating questions like “Did your doctor say when she thinks the baby will come?” It takes so much self control not to say, “I don’t know, she forgot to bring her crystal ball to our appointment.”

Then today we had a quick ultrasound to confirm the baby is head down and this evening she said, “So how much does the baby weigh?” Woman! I don’t know! She is driving me crazy!
