Which is better?

I always had a family doc.... does one need a pediatrician or is a family doc ok?
Thoughts?

I’d go with a pediatrician because they specialize in babies and children. Their knowledge and insight will be far better than a family doctor.

I would go with the pediatrician, because the pediatrician has a much deeper knowledge of children and their development. All of the medical records will be available to the family doctor when the person switches doctors. So don’t worry about years of history or anything like that.
