Rock ‘n Play or Baby Swing?

First time mama here! I’ve heard so many arguments for both options, so I’d love to hear from some other moms on what worked best for their babies.

I think a rock n play instead of a bassinet. The bassinet was useless unless you have a dockatot to stick inside it. Swings are good too! So both. Different functions

Swing. No rock in play. Some folks will disagree, but I genuinely think they are not safe. Do some research online about the rock in play and see what other parents are saying. Some say its a miracle, others not so much.

I used both, they were the only way she'd sleep without being latched onto my breast for the first 3 months. I know they aren't recommended, but momma needed some SLEEP.
Of you can only get one, I'd recommend a swing that plugs into the wall.

I’m planning to buy a mamaroo (from 4moms), which I think operates like a swing and rock and play (and others) . It’s a little more expensive but means less junk in my house

With my first we used both (kinda). I didn’t have a rock n play but our pack n play came with a bouncer and we bought a swing separate.

I’ve only ever used a swing with my kids but I really want a rock n play! 😬 I may get both if I can find some for decent prices. Lol!
