Huge coffee lover ☕️ especially (americanos🤤) I know that’s a lot of caffeine... thoughts on drinking coffee while pregnant?

I’ve decided no caffeine during the first trimester - super anxious this time around. After week 12, I’ll do a cup a day as I usually did. Looking forward to that!

I would just limit coffee intake. I have had a vanilla chai 12 oz and then some tea drinks that have caffeine in them, but I definitely keep it to a minimum. I also dont drink them quickly, the vanilla chai I had lasted all day. I would just listen to your body and dont exceed the recommended dose.

I’m quitting all caffeinated drinks - but that’s just me. When I’m craving a coffee I make myself a hot chocolate 😋 that way I’m getting hydrated (caffeine dehydrates you) and I get a fix for my warm sweet morning drink. 
I didn’t think I’d be able to kick the coffee but this has worked out great. A day or two of grog but now I’m good!
I know they say caffeine is ok up to 1 cup or so, but I honestly have been wanting a reason to quit coffee so this is the perfect excuse.
