What does it mean ? am I pregnant

So I was suppose to start my period 02/21/19 and today is 02/22/19. I’ve just been spotting but I had this on my pad. A dark brown stringy thing. Sometimes my spotting goes to a light pink or sometimes light red and sometimes dark brown. I still haven’t started my period just spotting

Looks like what I used to have in the first couple of days before I started my period; brown blood is usually old blood left over from your last cycle. I’d have a bit of spotting mixed in before it fully hit as well. If your period doesn’t show, though, definitely test. Good luck!
