Bloating after IUD insertion?

I had my IUD (paragard) inserted yesterday and I’m super bloated today. Is it normal and if so, how long does it last? The paragard has no hormones in it, so I don’t know if it should cause bloating for long.

This is definitely normal, I got mine several months back and I felt bloated/swollen for a few days after insertion. Your cervix and uterus are still recovering from the experience so just give them some time :) I also experienced mild constipation after, I think because of the swelling
